how does it relate to something like, star conquest. i played that but never really liked it.

there's a lot of miriani coppies out there. but miriani and SC are the best out there. mostly due to soundpacks, and mostly due to the fact other games like that are all based off of the cosmos DB and still keep everything from the cosmos DB. so yes do tell a bit more.

This game was never supposed to be released to the public, and as such is alpha quality at best. One of our admins keeps changing the name of our game to Battle of The Stars, and this game was planned on being released in a series with others. This wasn't a Miriani clone, it was based on another codebase. In addition, we were working on another MOO based on the hell core, but however Burak heard about this game is a total mystery to me. It appears Danny has taken the projects down to focus on Tarandi MOO and another space MOO in development. If anyone wants to play the MUDs, will read the helpfile and not act like blinkys WE'll consider bringing the other muds back.
I love the internet. You know why? Cause I have the chance to offer my oppinions even when they're not asked for. this is bogus bullshit. I've seen you guys posting about your half ass muds since time out of mind on several boards. YOu guys post and post and post, and then you release an alpha quality mud that doesn't even work. Then, when people actually play it, all the admins act like dicks and move players around and mess with them all the time.

I'm not just talking about you specifically, btw, so don't get all offended. I don't know why one of people's favorite hobbies is to release shitty half baked muds and then cry and rant on message boards when people don't play them. When you can't even get a server to stay up and running for two or three days, and you can't program consistently in one code base, nobody's gonna play the game.
when "cause mose was up" I left that MUD because the main host decided to play with the sounds on my MUD client before helping me. Sorry, if this crap happens, see ya!!!. Here is a hent, grow up before making any more muds. I do not see this stuff happening with SC or mariani.
I agree with poster 8. I can't stand it. When you release a quality product, great. Until then, I don't want to know about it.
